Congratulations to our Student of the Month: Ethan!

Hi Ethan, can you please tell us a little bit about yourself?

My name is Ethan, I am 13 years old and I like to play Basketball in any free time.I have two younger sisters that both train Jiu-Jitsu at Silanoe Martial Arts as well.

Why did you start training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

First of all, I started training Jiu-Jitsu because my dad wanted me to have this in my life. Secondly, I took up Jiu-Jitsu for exercise.

When did you start training Jiu-Jitsu and how often do you come to class?

I joined around March and I come to Jiu-Jitsu 4 times a week.

What is your favorite thing about Jiu-Jitsu class?

My favorite thing about Jiu-Jitsu class is getting to meet many people and learning from other students.

What do you like most about Professor Gino’s teachings?

What I like about Professor Gino’s teachings is that he is detailed when showing moves and he is showing it from different perspectives.

Questions for Ethan’s dad Dale

What improvements have you noticed in Ethan since he’s been doing Jiu-Jitsu?

A couple of noticeable improvement I see in Ethan is in his energy level, he is more friendly and more talkative!

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

I highly recommend Silanoe Martial Arts because of the friendly family atmosphere. Plus, professor (Gino) is very good in his craft!
