I've never been in a gym. Will someone help me on my first visit?

Absolutely! Our instructors and staff are here to support you. We’ll guide you through everything step-by-step. In some cases, we’ll even pair you with a more experienced student to help. Don’t worry — we’ve got gear you can borrow too!

How do I become a member?

It’s easy! You can:

Is Silanoe Martial Arts a good fit for me or my family?

How intense are the classes? Do they involve sparring?

Classes are scaled to your experience and fitness level.
Sparring is always optional and guided with safety in mind especially for beginners.

Will I get hurt or bruised in Kickboxing or Jiu-Jitsu?

Injuries are rare, and we prioritize safety.
Some bruising can happen depending on your body and activity level, but our beginner classes are lower intensity and instructors always scale training to fit your level.

How can I cancel my membership?

If you ever need to cancel:

  • Email us

  • Submit a cancellation form at the academy

  • Or send a request by registered mail
    You’ll receive a confirmation once processed. If you don’t, please reach out.

Am I locked into a contract?

Nope. We operate on a month-to-month basis. We just ask for a 30-day notice if you decide to cancel so we can update our roster accordingly.

How much is parking?

Parking is free and easy.
You can enter via Las Tunas Dr. (between the Shoe Repair and the Pharmacy), or through Alanmay Ave. next to Fortune Bakery.
